        Biophysical Platform

        1.Purpose of the Platform



        - Size and shape of macromolecules
        - Stoichiometry of macromolecular assemblies
        - Secondary and tertiary structure of macromolecules
        - Thermodynamic stability of macromolecules
        - Properties kinetic and thermodynamic interactions


        Quality control of sample before experiment: We need SDS-PAGE image and UV 260/280 spectrum for each sample

        2.Webpage of the Platform

        The platform can advise you or direct you on your choices and give you information on:

        * Experimental constraints and duration of the experiments
        * Estimations and calculations of physico-chemical parameters
        * Methodological links and softwares to be used

        NATURE OF THE PRESTATION

        The platform can interact with users in three ways:

        1) Service: routine experiments performed in standard conditions, without intervention of the person who requests them

        2) Instrument allocation after user training: for users who have successfully completed training to gain operational autonomy allowing them to perform and/or analyze their experiments by themselves

        3) Scientific collaboration: projects in which the Biophysical platform is strongly involved (several weeks to several years). In this case, experiments are designed, performed and analyzed in tandem between the scientific responsible and the applicant.
